Dramatizing the rough and tough life of the early explorers,trappers and Indians of
the American west. The Blackfoot Fort Rendezvous will re-enact life in the early 1800's.
Mountain Men, dressed in their traditional skins will demonstrate the crafts and survival
skills necessary during the era of the fur trapper. A Trapper's Camp full of ornery ol' trappers will
show the scouts how the mountain man lived, and the equipment they carried
with them. Fun, food, entertainment, learning and competition will highlight this years rendezvous.
